Spiritual Direction

Spiritual Direction

There are many metaphors that speak to the ministry of spiritual direction. The one that resonates most deeply with me is that of a pilgrim companion.

I have had the great privilege of walking the Camino de Santiago four times. On each pilgrimage, much of what made the journey so meaningful was sharing it with fellow pilgrims. Walking alongside others, noticing the beauty around us, listening to stories, and making space for the experience to unfold together.

For me, this reflects the heart of spiritual direction and the kind of presence I hope to offer. To walk alongside others in the pilgrimage of their lives, creating space to notice the presence of God within their everyday experience, and listening with gentleness and attention.

You do not need to have walked a pilgrimage route for us to work together. The journey of faith and life takes many forms, and spiritual direction is simply a space to pause, reflect, and become more attentive to the presence of God within your own story.
