The Enneagram is an ancient tool which provides a framework for self understanding. It describes nine different personality types, mapping out each types core motivation, fears and desires making it a helpful tool for spiritual development and growth.
The nine different types can be seen here in this image. There are a plethora of resources to help you identify your own type and to explore how this can become part of your journey of self discovery and spiritual development. (I have linked a selection of some which I have found helpful at the bottom of this post).
As I have explored the enneagram over the past few years I have discovered that I am a type two ‘The Helper’, This comes with many gifts but also many challenges. A few months ago my friend Dave asked me to join a conversation with some other type twos to reflect on what it is like to exist in the world as a type two.
You can find the episode below. I hope you enjoy listening in and maybe it might even inspire you to delve into the enneagram for yourself.

"Faith is not the clinging to a shrine, but an endless pilgrimage of the heart."
